Win or bust for Sporting at Ipurua

The Asturians have to capture maximum points away to Eibar in order to keep their hopes of a great escape alive.

Team News:
SD Eibar: Antonio Luna and Fran Rico (both injured); Anaitz Arbilla (suspended)
R. Sporting: Lillo (injured)
Match Facts:
Eibar (8th, 54 pts):
- The head-to-head favours the Basques, who boast two wins and one loss in the three previous top-flight encounters between the two clubs and prevailed in the clash at El Molinon earlier this season.
- Eibar are experts at coming out of left field and making full use of the width of the pitch. Not for nothing have four of their last five assists come from left-backs (two apiece for Antonio Luna and David Junca).
Sporting (18th, 27 pts):
- Only a win will do for Sporting in their struggle to beat the drop. However, even if they do claim all three points at Ipurua, they will still be relegated if both CD Leganes and RC Deportivo get something out of their respective games.
- Rubi's charges will have to be focused from the off against an Eibar side who have scored 17% of their goals in the opening quarter of an hour of matches, a larger proportion than any other club in LaLiga Santander.
- The hosts, for their part, will be particularly mindful of the threat the visitors pose in the first 15 minutes of the second period, when the Asturians have netted a league-high 26% of their goals.
