Leaders CA Osasuna have already sealed their place in LaLiga Santander, so the race is now on for the second automatic promotion berth and the four play-off places in LaLiga 1l2l3, over the final three rounds of matches. The sprint finish starts this weekend with nine teams in the running.
Granada CF are in poll postion to take the final automatic promotion slot as they lie second in the standings with 74 points, six ahead of third-placed Albacete BP. Granada are at home to Cadiz CF on Sunday where a draw would be enough to confirm their return to the top-flight for the first time since 2016/17.
Albacete, RCD Mallorca, Malaga CF and Cadiz have their destiny in their own hands as they occupy third, fourth, fifth and sixth respectively. RC Deportivo (7th), Real Oviedo (8th), UD Almeria (9th) and Real Sporting (10th) lie below them waiting for slip ups.
The games between direct promotion rivals to look out for this weekend include:
Albacete v Sporting on Saturday 18:00 CET
Granada v Cadiz on Sunday 19:00 CET
Deportivo v Mallorca on Monday 21:00 CET
The play-off semi-final first legs are scheduled for Wednesday 12 June with the return legs on Sunday 16 June. The two-legged play-off final will be played on Wednesday 16 June and Sunday 23rd.
