Ittihad and Granada will play in Tangier within the framework of LFP World Challenge

Granada CF will be one of the protagonists in the pre-season tours of LaLiga World this summer. Jose Ramon Sandoval’s squad will travel to Tangier, a cityat the north end of Morocco, to face up to Ittihad Tangier asprogrammed in the LFP World Challenge.

The duel before a team of the highest category in Moroccan football will take place next August 4th in the Grand Stade du Tanger, with capacity for 45 000 spectators. The match between Itthad Tanger and Granada CF will be played at 20:30 local time (21:30 Spanish time).

The Moroccan team (former UD España Tanger) and the Nasrid squad already know what it is to be face to face, after both squads fought in Spain's Second Division in the 1953-1954 season.

A LaLiga club traveling to African lands will make it possible to increase the knowledge of and interest in LaLiga World throughout the globe, bringing the players closer to the fans while promoting Spanish values by way of football and LaLiga. In this way, the Andalusian squad contributes actively in promoting the Brand Spain internationally and helping the phenomenon of the LFP World Challenge extend globally.
